The UrbanJungle Care integration for Home Assistant brings the plant sensors of your Urban Jungle Care account into Home Assistant. It also works the other way round: Mi Flora sensors that Home Assistant already reads over Bluetooth send their readings to your account.

What the integration does

  • Adds one device per sensor in your account, with moisture, light, temperature, conductivity and battery as entities.
  • Sends the readings of Mi Flora and Flower Care sensors that the xiaomi_ble integration sees to your account, so the app has them too.
  • Registers a sensor your account does not know yet by itself.
  • Refreshes every 15 minutes with premium and every 24 hours without, shown in a sync status sensor.

What you need

  • Home Assistant 2025.4 or newer, with HACS for the easiest install.
  • The my integration, which default_config loads. Home Assistant returns from the sign-in through my.home-assistant.io.
  • For forwarding readings: Bluetooth in Home Assistant with the xiaomi_ble integration.
  • An Urban Jungle Care account, the same one as in the mobile app.

Setting it up

  1. Open HACS, choose Custom repositories in the menu and add https://github.com/koktail-nl/urbanjungle-home-assistant with type Integration.
  2. Search for UrbanJungle Care in HACS, download it and restart Home Assistant.
  3. Go to Settings, Devices & services, Add integration and search for UrbanJungle Care.
  4. Sign in with your Urban Jungle Care account and approve the access. Home Assistant finishes the setup.

Prefer to install by hand? Download urbanjungle_care.zip from the latest release, unpack it into config/custom_components/ and restart Home Assistant.

Revoke the link in the Urban Jungle Care app and Home Assistant asks for approval again on its next refresh. Remove the integration in Home Assistant and the link disappears from your account as well.
